Somedays that yurt in South America sounds really good, but then comes the realization of no air conditioning and that's that.


I like the idea of dreaming of disconnecting and saying "screw it, I'm outtie" - it doesn't mean you're actually going to do it, but it's fun to think about occasionally.


LOL. I know that feeling. Whenever I pass the dried up well at my parent's house, I want to throw whatever is in my hand into it. I haven't done it yet, but I know that compulsive feeling.

It's a bit ridiculoud to quote from Kundera's Unbearable Lightness of Being after your sophomore year in college, but what the heck. "What is vertigo? Fear of falling? No, Vertigo is something other than fear of falling. It is the voice of the emptiness below us which tempts and lures us, it is the desire to fall, against which, terrified, we defend ourselves."


Chris Bangle is the guy that wrecked the look of BMWs for (depending on the model) a good chunk of this decade. Fortunately, he's been ousted and designs are already looking better for the last few seasons.
