I thought that was chocolate till I went and looked at the picture better - bacon, not chocolate. That makes more sense, tastewise. See, Youngest makes sandwiches with some weird combinations of food, and some of them work - it could have been chocolate.
[this is good] I used to not think so, but have recently started getting my bacon from a butcher rather than a supermarket and the difference - mmm, divine. In fact, now I get all my meat from my local butcher - it's all free-range or organic, and just tastes so much better. Didn't stop two of my children becoming (moral ethical) vegetarians though.
