Once upon a time there lived a little boy named Burn, who had lots of friends. Burn’s favorite possession was a magic camera that he took with him everywhere. The magic of the camera was that it made everything he photographed look beautifully kaleidoscopic. Even ordinary libraries became magnificent sculptures through Burn’s magic lens.
Only children could appreciate the beauty of the magic pictures. They printed the pictures and stared at them for hours as if hypnotized.
Grownups did not understand the pictures. They saw only bright shiny lights that blinded them and made them afraid. They made the pictures go away, and they made the children drop Burn as their friend.
This made Burn sad.
Burn went to the great wizard Benydnar, and asked for help. “I miss my friends” he said. “No one wants to connect with me anymore.”
Benydnar took pity on poor Burn. The wizard created a magic spell that made Burn’s magic pictures invisible to the silly grownups, so they could again be cherished by the children.
Soon children all over the world were connecting to Burn as friends so they too could see the magic photographs. Burn had his friends back.
And once again, Burn was happy.
The end.

I am going to tell this story to The Bug.
