Butter poached, I presume.

There was probably some butter, being a French restaurant and all, but it wasn't drowning in the stuff (which I probably wouldn't have minded - I'm a big fan of butter). It was surprisingly refreshing...

I think my wife and I had that same dish at La Folie, but we were too transported to get a photo.

I wanted to shoot all of my food - even the tapioca pudding at the end was pretty - but my tablemates (none of whom have ever heard of blogging) started to make fun of me and it got to be pretty distracting.
